Cinnamon Stars

What is star-like about these cookies?  I suppose you could cut them into star shapes. 

The red ink is quite festive, although apparently not water-resistant.

These are probably supposed to be pressed out from one of those tin cookie squirter things that had a "star" shape. I remember making them in yellow and blue for Easter as a kiD! Great Blog

not sure where your Grandma is from, but these remind me so much of both my grandmothers....so sweet to see the handwritten recipe cards...keep the recipes coming.
