Tomato Soup Spice Cake

There are enough recipes in the box that fall under the category of "Normal items made with a surprising and/or disgusting ingredient" that I should probably make a separate section for them on the site.  Here, we have a pedestrian boxed spice cake made with -- oh, you'll just never guess! -- tomato soup! Zingy! Or should I say, Souper!

btw - do you try making these recipes - any of them? you just seem to comment on how 'yucky' they are? have you tried these?

This is weird, but my grandmother also had this recipe in her collection. I have her whole cardfile box, where she kept all of her recipes, and there are A LOT of them. Sounds like an interesting recipe! :)
