Corn Pudding

A cup of butter and a cup of sour cream -- how can it possibly be bad?

Tomato Pie

Tomato_pie_2

I hope we all enjoyed meat loaf week.  This week, I'm going to post a few recipes that I'm going to make for Thanksgiving, or would be Thanksgiving-appropriate.

I'm going to make this one on Thursday.  It's intriguing to me, and I can't quite fathom what it might taste like.  Does it taste like tomatoes, or is it more of a cheesey-bready au gratiny flavor?  I suppose it's really a crustless quiche, isn't it?  If I remember in the flurry of cooking, I'll take a picture and post it.

Cabbage Slaw

Nelda_wagstaff_cabbage_slaw_2

This is my favorite card. I love the vivacious housewife with the 16-inch waist, jaunty chef's hat, and can-do attitude that says, "Voila! It was so easy!"

I'm intrigued by the "PetRecipe" line on the card. Isn't there a Pet brand of foods?  Or does Pet Recipe mean a favorite recipe?  Or could it mean...Oh God! Fluffy! Nooooooo!

Relievedly, no animals appear to have been harmed in the making of this cabbage slaw.
